…in Morecambe, where The Tern Public Art Project, the 'See Wall', depicts the estuarine food chain of Morecambe Bay, and was carved by Gillian Forbes and co-designed by Colin Begg. Set out in a spiral, it can be found on the promenade adjacent to the Lifeboat Station

…in London, at Christie's Auction House, where contemporary art is being given away for Cancer Research UK on March 11. Art4Life's Sake will show works of art, ranging from bronze sculptures to wall sized canvasses, donated by 200 of the UK's leading contemporary artists. At the end of the evening there is a special draw, guaranteeing ticket holders will win one of the pieces of art on show, whether it is worth £5000 or £160

…and south of the river, at the gallery@oxo, Oxo Tower Wharf, where Christian Aid is staging an exhibition of sculptures by Mozambican artists to 3 February. 'Swords into ploughshares' is an exhibition of weapons fashioned into animal and bird sculptures, chairs and coffee tables. Each piece is an icon of peace fashioned from an instrument of death. …in Glasgow, where Scottish artist David Mach wants action photos from the people of Glasgow, to help him create four 8x4 feet collage 'portraits' of Glasgow. Drop in suitable snaps (they can't be returned) to any of Glasgow's museums or post them to David Mach Exhibition, Gallery of Modern Art, Queen Street, Glasgow G1 3AZ.
