1 month to go!

Bolder and Wiser – Older people and culture

Thursday 1 October 2009 , 10am - 5pm , NCVO, Kings Cross, London , N1 9RL

There's only one month to go until Bolder and Wiser, Audiences London's next symposium focusing on older people and culture. Join us to hear about the impacts of our ageing population and share experiences and learning about how to engage our increasingly diverse older people as audiences, participants and artists.

Whether you're already focusing on the changing profile and needs of older people or engaging older people is new for your organisation, this event offers inspiration, practical advice and essential information. We'll be discussing the implications of the statistics, providing opportunities for you to consider your organisations' response with your peers and connecting you with organisations with experience and knowledge to share.

Speakers include:

  • Professor Brian Groombridge, Author, University of London
  • Fiona Ross, Director of Creative Learning, Sadler's Wells
  • David Cutler, Director, Baring Foundation
  • Susan Langford, Director, Magic Me
  • Anne Torreggiani , Chief Executive, Audiences London
